 Primavera at Australia day 2006 We had a great time at the Australia day parade. It was hard work, even though it was just 1.2 km. Some of the drums are quite heavy (12 kg!), and with the heat it's always a challenge to march during the day. However, nothing can stop the Brisbane Samba School, and we made sure everyone could hear us. Funniest thing was the very moment we started playing: our first 'paradinhas' were a bit of a (loud) surprise for the police horses, who almost threw off the police riders...
